The experienc of deficiency and trauma in our life stories remain what they are in the past, but they gradually lose their power and effect or even fall silent in the experience of the present, even if we are repeatedly left “standing in the rain” because the immune system is weakening momentarily, at some point that will stop and it will be quiet while we can relax and expand into the very moment … That is trust building in the surrender to what IS. It is a powerful process that takes courage and discipline to override indolence and take a leap of faith and courage.
It is always a decision for the unknown, for the still unfamiliar land. We don’t stay in our comfort zone but get up because we are no longer satisfied with the crumbs of survival. We will not miss the chance to follow our hearts, in small and big decisions. The soul will rejoice because it loves freedom and is so happy to spread its wings.
